About Heatons

The History

Established in 1986 by our Managing Director, David Heaton Fielding, Heaton Stationery Ltd was a small family run business based in Hoylake on the Wirral. Set up to provide local businesses with a competitive pricing and a personal service.

Progression

In 1991, Heatons moved to premises on Station Road in Hoylake, Wirral. Our retail shop still exists there today. Within just 8 years, Heatons had outgrown their premises once again.

Heatons Today

Heaton Stationery thrived and quickly grew into one of the Merseyside’s largest office suppliers. In 1999 the business expanded to our current premises in Lairdside Technology Park, Birkenhead. Heaton Stationery became Heatons, now providing so much more than just stationery.

Employing over 60 staff, we are now one of the UK’s largest independent dealers, offering free, nationwide, next day delivery on over 22,000 office products to thousands of businesses across the UK.

In addition to Stationery, our dedicated Office Furniture and Print departments have enabled us to provide a more complete service to our customers and further cement the working relationships that have seen Heatons grow into the successful business it is today.

Heatons have been members of the BNI since 2000. The BNI is a networking organisation which provides its members with the opportunity to share ideas and knowledge with each other. We believe that shared experiences benefit our clients and add valuable training for our staff.
